Midlife (19)

Living, it used to be fun,
now I feel I’m caught in it.
No faith in liberation,
indifferent for tomorrow.
Living, it used to be sun,
idle, what I sought in it.
Past the stage of frustration,
experiencing it hollow.
Living, it can be undone,
though before I fought for it.
But I’ll bide my duration,
won’t give my kids the sorrow.
Living, it used to be fun,
now I feel I’m caught in it.

To the next post in the "midlife" sequence

Hi,

Je hebt er gezellig blog van gemaakt ;-)

Vooral midlife 19.
krijg er een brok van in mijn keel.

Hoop dat je beter voelt dan dat je schrijft.
